Planting Design Workshops are now running at The Slade Centre, the first of which will be running on 18th – 19th April from 9.30 – 4.30. This is a practical, ‘hands on’ workshop where attendees will put learned skills into practice by producing a scaled planting plan of a border in their own garden. The workshop is suitable for anyone who has an interest in plants and gardens and is limited to only 6 places.
The workshop will consist of a mix of:
- planting design theory,
- 1:1 work with me,
- practical drawing sessions,
All materials and technical equipment are supplied e.g. drawing boards, drawing equipment, paper, reference books etc.
Those who attend may also provide measurements of a specific border in their garden along with photographs and any other reference material, this is not essential though and a planting plan can still be successfully produced without these.
